Kids Paddling

WeSUP's instructors are able to offer your nippers stand up paddleboard instruction, but each person under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a legal guardian who must be in full supervision at all times. That means within ear shot and absolutely within clear visibility, even if that means you are watching from the comfort of dry land. We do recommend joining in with the session though as SUP is an awesome activity to do with the whole family. Fun, social and super safe

Activity Considerations

Cold - SUP is NOT always a cold water sport.

We teach you to stay on your feet and out of the water. Whilst standing on your board in your wetsuit, you will be performing excercise which naturaly makes you warm.

Balance -
SUP is not a balance sport, it’s a paddle sport.
The Stand Up Paddleboard that we give you will suit your height, weight and experience. The bigger the board the easier it is. We have a range of top quality paddle boards that are of similar stability to a pontoon! Your sense of balance is not a real consideration.

Windy ConditionsToo windy, too unsafe.
The wind is our biggest problem whilst learning to Stand Up Paddleboard. If the forecast shows wind gusting over 15mph, we will unfortunately have to re-schedule bookings.
